11% of the adult population is currently divorced.
25% of adults have had at least one divorce during their lifetime.
Divorce rates among conservative Christians were significantly higher than for other faith groups, and much higher than Atheists and Agnostics experience. |
Barna report: Variation in divorce rates among Christian faith groups:
Denomination (in order of decreasing divorce rate) | % who have been divorced |
Non-denominational ** | 34% |
Baptists | 29% |
Mainline Protestants | 25% |
Mormons | 24% |
Catholics | 21% |
Lutherans | 21% |
Now this number truly has got to change! Apart from the enemy moving like a roaring lion seeking whom he can devour; what are we Christians doing in our marriage that is allowing us to resemble the world's way of doing things?! or as the research group has shown us, the world has been doing better than us.
Let me hear your thoughts on this subject. What can we change in our walk, ways, life and etc that can change this devastating attack amongst us. After all, a family that prays together, stays together...why aren't we?

I believe it has lot to do with the Man
ReplyDeletebecause our Father appointed them and lot them try to fix the issue themselves or go outside there marriage for help instead praying to Our heavenly Father who design this for help. I dislike a man or woman who would go after someone who is married they just dont know what curse they bring to them self
I agree with you Rose. There is usually someone else involved. Usually that person is not in the will of God, so they are doing things that is on emotion and that is always disastrous for everyone involved.
ReplyDeleteWe also have to remember we as human change every year so we should always try our best to get to know our spouse. We should always invite Our father,Jehovah God in our relationship
